LES MIS CH9

What really surprised me was that we got to see what Madame Baptistine thought about and saw her perspective of things. She speaks of her brother as brave as the Bishop keeps going into danger. She fears losing her brother as she sees them as one and wouldn't have anything without him. This shows she truly cares for him and thinks of him as an idol or truly good person. I would like to see more characters perspectives in the story as it adds more to the world and makes it seem more diverse in contrast to just sticking to the Bishop.

 October 29  I balance my need for individuality and to fit in by finding people who would accept me for me. To others who may come across our friend group we may seem weird, strange, or dumb. We all have our quirks and may get out of control form time to time when we have sudden mood changes or may just act awkward and shy. August, 20     Question : Why is it that so many young people want to be older, and so many older people want to be young? How do you feel about your age?      Younger people want to be older to be seen as more mature and responsible. Some may want to be older in order to work and earn their own money, be able to live in on their own, or any other adult like subject that seems fun and exciting in their eyes. They mainly just want to be older or seen as an older individual in order to stop being nagged at by others and have freedom in their lives without someone looking over their shoulders at all times. However older people want to be younger in order to reclaim their youthful, energetic, and stronger self they used to have. Some may just want to look younger or not have as many responsibilities like taxes. As for me I feel stuck in the middle. I don't want to be younger as I would get less freedom in my life and don't want to be as old as to miss out on the tee...

FINAL REFLECTION FOR WORLD LITERATURE 2020-2021

      I thought going into my sophomore year of high school would have been like going into high school as a freshmen but with less anxiety and less getting lost looking for classes. I also had high hopes for the end of our freshmen year. However I did not expect my freshmen year to end with me at home locked in my room. It was kind of surprising that we suddenly went into quarantine right after they said there was a possibility of going into quarantine in a few days. So far this school year has been a rollercoaster of surprises and it has took a while to get used to everything.      Before I used to dread English class. The only thing I looked forward to in it was the very few books that caught my interest and the silent reading. This English course was different from other courses however.
